KLAD is a division on RUMCLO Developments Ltd.
As a design and development company we wanted our builds to not only be sustainable, durable, built with quality craftmanship and functional, but also look amazing! This is where KLAD was born.
When we started designing “The Point” www.liveatthepoint.com we looked to our neighbors to the east. Taking inspiration form Scandinavian architecture we noticed that the use of metal cladding is a very common practice. Not only because it looks great but also due to it’s ability to withstand the harsh Nordic climates from where it originates. The metal panels give the modern and clean design esthetic synonymous with Scandinavian builds and protects the structures much like a Viking warriors’ armour.
The name KLAD is an homage to Scandinavia.

What we do.
We manufacture and install Standing Seam Metal roofing and wall panels from our facility in Brooklyn, Nova Scotia.
Using our state of the art Englert MetalMan Multi-Panel Roofing Machine we can make panels of various sizes, profiles, and colours custom to your needs.
Our representatives will come to your home or building site to take measurements by hand or using our drone scanning technology. Or if you prefer, you can send us your construction drawings in either .DWG or PDF format.
Along with your price quote, you will receive a 3D mock up of your home so that you can see what the end result will be.
Installation comes next. Let our skilled team install your panels for you or alternatively KLAD will deliver the metal package to your site and you can use your preferred roofing contractor.
*We have hand seamers available for rent if necessary.
Drone Scanning
KLAD uses a specialized drone scanning technique which enables us to measure your roof with a very high level of accuracy. Data is collected and imported into our software to output a detailed analysis report. Using this data we will generate a price quote and a 3D model of your home to show you what your new roof KLAD will look like.
*Drone scanning is weather dependent and not possible in all locations.
